All right it’s been a while I’ve been busy but I just had to talk about this book I just finished. It is the book based off the new Mummy movie. The book is The Mummy Tomb of the Red Dragon Emperor. Do not worry there are no spoilers here. All I have to say is if the movie stays to the book it is going to rock. The book is fast paced and once it starts it never slows down it took maybe three hours to read and I never wanted to put it down. If you want a good read and don’t mind a little spoiler for the movie get the book.
Another book I read is Monster blood Tattoo. It is about a man/teenager who is of on the adventure of growing up. The fun part about this book is it is in it’s own fantasy world. The book comes with maps of the area, definitions of terms. While most people would think if I had to read a dictionary to read the book it’s not worth it. No worries then because the terms are pretty much explained as you read the book. This book has every thing monsters, action adventure I have not found a love interest par say but that leads to the next part this is a three book set. I finished the first book, and immediately have a friend who is reading it now while I pine for the second book. [Pay day when will it come. :-) ]
In the mean time I am starting on Werewolf Rising by R. L. LaFevers well see how it is I might let you know.

Surprisingly the thing that works best for me is a desktop that says "Don't be stupid do your work!"
Thats right folks she did it my little girl said Daddy. Well actually Da-da. What makes it even better she did it while sitting on the floor when my wife told her to go to daddy. She looked at me started crawling toward me saying da-da. I picked her up and she kept saying it and I'm saying the last time I felt so proud was the first time I held her. This is the coolest feeling that I have ever had. There is something to it that I just can't explain. How is it that those two little syllables can make me feel so good. It make me feel like I'm doing the right thing by her and I guess it's the fact that now I have herd it from her that she recognizes me as her dad. I now know why parents remember this day.
For those who don't know my house is a wreck right now because we are currently trying to redo the hardwood floors in my house. Not the whole house we are leaving carpet in the bedrooms but getting rid of it in the rest. I will say this if any one reading this is thinking of redoing their hardwood floors if you have the money pay some one. This process is long and a pain in the a**.
One of my friend from work found this out the hard way. While talking we came across the fact that I was redoing my floors and he told me that he was thinking of redoing his floors but would like to learn a little first. (For those that have not heard this phrase before this is code for let me try on yours so I don't f**k up mine.) I said sure why pass on free labor plus it would be cool to shoot the breeze while working (This is hard to do over the sound of two sanders.) So he comes over I give him the full range we sand some and we use some stripper to remove some paint that is on the floors.
Forward to the next day my friend is sore as heck and I am just fine. He attribute this to the fact that he is out of shape his Friend (Mainmor) attributes it to the fact that he is older than I am and should know better. Oh well he'll know better the next time if I can talk him into helping again.
Alright we have finally done it. We have gotten the fish for the aquarium. For those not in the loop about three months ago my wife decides that we need to get some pet fish for my daughter to look at. I like fish so I said alright. So we get the tank a 20 gallon beauty, later we get the rocks and the decorations. I set the tank up to let the water circulate and the freaking pump dies after two days. So we let the water do its thing and then a month later (yesterday) we go and get the fish. We get two sharks, and one catfish. Now the sharks should, if they don't die, get up to three inches long. The cat fish should get up to about a foot long. (I wounder if the wife would be mad if I fished in my own aquarium?) Here is the kicker. when we get the fish the guy at the pet store tells us that there is a chance that the sharks will pass out , and that the catfish will start having sesures from the shock of being transported, and they are warentied for the next two weeks. If one ides bring whats left back, and the recipt and we will give you another one. Lets get this right the bad a** sharks, and catfish that will eat the dead, are going to go into shock. That was hilarious. The good thing is they didn't but they freaked out when the bubbles came on with the new pump.
So we got the fish in there and my wife looks at me and asks what we are going to call them. in the end some how we end up in alphabetical order through E. With my dog being E. Here they are.

Byron-catfish
Cher- shark light tail fin
Derrick- goldfish
Ebo- the dog
The wife chose Cher don't ask me why. Later today I should have some pics. In the end we get the fish to keep my daughter happy and she loves them she watches them swim and giggles the whole time.
This is a guy a ran across. His name is David Sides and what he does is take songs that are current and on the charts and plays them like classical pieces on the piano. Good stuff.

Well I never thought this day would happen. I actually never really got into the blogging seen but thanks to one of my friends Mainmore I kind of got into it. After seeing that blogs can be used for more than just complaining and it's FREE. I thought what the heck great place to express my self. So for those who see this be gentile and if you have any tips on how to make my blog look any better I welcome your thoughts.
